We're here, We love it, and IKEA!

We made it safely to Washington, oh what a trip! We had lots of good food, good laughs, and sleepless hours. But we sure are happy to be here :) We left Louisiana on Sunday morning, and got to Washington on Tuesday night. So I guess we made it good time, poor Jason he sure is a trooper! I love him dearly. The last couple days have been great, just trying to get the swing of things, not let the time difference get the best of us. Thus far, I've lost that war. I can't sleep for crap. Oh well, I'll get use to it! Today was my first day into the city since we moved (only 4 days ago, haha) and I was so excited when I saw the bay. It's so pretty!

Jason hit the ground running, and has worked the last 3 days. He has already been super busy which is awesome, and I have had some time to spend with Robyn, a friend of ours here. She was so kind enough to take me out and about yesterday, we went thrifting, and just explored the city. Well, she let ME explore.. It was so fun! Today was went to IKEA. Yep, I-K-E-A!! What can I say about that place, man words do not even explain.. It was my first time going, and I was so overwhelmed when I walked in, I had no idea what to do first. We looked around, obviously it was the greatest day EVER, haha.

I ended up picking up some really cute cookie cutters, and we enjoyed some yummy swedish meatballs. I've never had those before and they were really good, I was super surprised at how great they tasted. I also really liked the lingonberry drink that I had. I've never had those before and it was pretty tasty. I can't wait to go back, the store is everything I ever dreamed it would be. I absolutely love it. If you've never been then I highly HIGHLY HIGHLY suggest that you find a store and go TODAY!

Aren't they cute?!

I hope I'll be back in the kitchen cooking and baking up some goodies, so until then.. You can find me at Ikea.
