Sorry for the lack of posting lately, things have continued to be crazy and I find myself even more busy than usual. It's really not a bad thing, but I hate not posting regularly. Here are some fun things I've made the last few weeks. Thanks to Erikka, Dan, and Justin for having me be a part of your events!

Candy Corn cupcakes and Cherry Pie cupcakes
The candy corn was a sweet vanilla cake that was colored to resemble candy corn (big shocker, right) and the cherry pie were vanilla bean cake with cherry pie filling on top and surrounded by a chocolate buttercream crust. Both were super simple to make, and a lot of fun too!

I did cupcakes based on the monster cereals - BooBerry, FrankenBerry, and Count Chocula. I made basic yellow cupackes then crushed up the cereals, mixed it into the batter, and topped with a vanilla buttercream and more of the cereal. My favorite was the BooBerry. I also heard the Count Chocula was on point ;)
A few other treats that I had - Vegan ginger lemon whoopie pies ( I will make these again and post the recipe), Chocolate lemon cupcakes, caramel apple cupcakes, and pumpkin oatmeal cookies. My favorite was the surprise pumpkin pie cupcakes. That's one that I will blog about separately and one that I will definitely be making again. Those things were delicious.
Lovely!
