Savory Pie Crust

Here is my recipe for my pot pie/savory pie crust. I love this recipe! Of course I used it to make tops and bottoms for 3 pies, So please modify as needed. If you do need help adjusting to your family size, etc. Please email me and I will be glad to help!

4 1/2 C flour
1 1/2 C unsalted butter, diced and chilled
1/3 C chilled water, more if needed
5 TB sugar
3 TB seasoning of choice (all purpose seasoning, etc I USE ADOBO IT IS MY FAVORITE, I use it on a lot of things, haha)

Mix together, flour, seasonings, and sugar in a large bowl with a whisk. Work chilled butter into dry ingredients using your fingers, or a pastry blender - I use my fingers - Do this until it resembles cornmeal, WORK QUICKLY! Add in the water, Mix until it starts to resemble a dough. Knead about 10 times, chill one hour. Divide into 3 large balls, divide those balls in half. On a lightly floured surface roll out dough, knead a few more times, then roll out to desired thickness.

Bake according to recipe using, Mine was at 375 degrees for 45 minutes Came out AMAZING! For the recipe I used it for, I lightly brushed the tops with an egg white/water mixture, cut slits (a MUST to release steam) and popped the bad boys in the oven. Seriously good food right here folks.
