Double The Pleasure Chocolate Chip Cookies

What's better than a chocolate chip cookie? Well, a cookie that has MORE chocolate in it. Yep! These cookies are probably the best ever. Crunchy on the outside, but super soft on the inside. And you really can't go wrong when you pair white and dark chocolate together, I love the combination and I am pretty sure everybody else did too. The cookies didn't last that long!

DTP Chocolate Chip Cookies

2 sticks unsalted butter, softened
1/2 C sugar
1 1/2 C brown sugar, not packed
2 eggs
1 TB pure vanilla extract
2 1/2 C flour
1 TS baking soda
2 TS hot water
Pinch of salt
1 C dark chocolate chips
1 C white chocolate chips - OR it can be any mix of whatever kind of chips you want. PB, butterscotch, milk chocolate, etc

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cream together butter and sugars until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time. Then mix in vanilla. Dissolve the baking soda and salt in the hot water. Add flour to egg mixture gradually, along with the hot water mixture. Fold in the chocolate chips.

Drop by large spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden. Cool on pan a few minutes, then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.

I seriously love how the edges are nice and crisp, but when you pull them apart, or bite into it, it's so soft and chewy. Pretty much an all around great chocolate chip cookie!
